JENGA TAIFA COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION (U) LIMITED popularly referred to as JENGA TAIFA is a Pan-African, veteran-led initiative that brings together veteran servicemen and women who once served in; the military, the police, the prisons, auxiliary forces (LDU, Amuka boys, Arrow boys, Home guards, Vigilantees, Ex-gratia Militants, Crime Preventers/Special Police Constables and Political cadres) including veteran spouses, children, returnees from special missions abroad, beneficiaries of Government of Uganda Amnesty for their involvement in subversive and terrorist acts and have since demobilized now working on peace diplomacy and community development and Allied Compatriots like; Historical Freedom Fighters from FRONASA/UPM/NRM fraternity within the country and in diaspora who subscribes to JENGA TAIFA Vision, mission, core values, objectives, philosophy, goals and strategies to harness and transformation members and beneficiaries livelihoods in equitable and sustainable manner.

JENGA TAIFA has an active presence across Central, Western, Northern, and Eastern Uganda, where community-based projects drive growth in agriculture, poultry, fisheries, apiary, and family-based cottage industries. Our nationwide outreach reflects the strength of our people-driven movement.

Our strong base in Kampala—covering Central, Rubaga, Makindye, Nakawa, and Kawempe divisions—drives urban initiatives that boost nationwide impact.
Mobilized Elderly – 1.5% (~14,000 members)
Our elderly members contribute wisdom, cultural values, and experience, ensuring intergenerational continuity and stability in community projects.
